IT’S OFFICIAL: REHAB KINETIQS IS THE OFFICIAL TEAM SPONSOR

  • Dr. Jayson, tell us about you and Rehab KinetiQs, how long have you been in physical therapy?

My name is Dr. Jayson Ceribo, I am a licensed physical therapist in NJ and I have been practicing for over 20 years now. I received my Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy in the Philippines and Doctorate Degree in Utica College, NY. Rehab KinetiQs was established August of last year, during the crazy time of pandemic.

  • How do you feel about opening up your own practice and having your wife as a partner?

It has always been a dream to open up my own practice and with God’s blessings, it turned into a reality. My wife is a huge part on why I strive to do better in my career. She’s been the inspiration and source of strength all these years especially during difficult times. I could not ask for a better partner with the same interest and profession that we love and so proud of.

  • What are some of the services you provide?

Our office provides top quality physical therapy service with a one-on-one session with our patients ranging from pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations experiencing musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurologic, sports-related, MVA and WC cases. Our office uses the latest technology equipments such as Dynatron 825 and 925 series Combo Electrical Stimulation and Ultrasound, Cold Laser Therapy, Paraffin Wax Bath, Lunix Hand Massager, Cervical Traction Unit, Nordictrack Recumbent Bike, PhysioStep HXT Recumbent Cross Trainer, Aeroski, Web-Slide Professional Exercise Rail System, Upper Body Ergometer, Free weights, Kettlebells, Thera-Bar, Therabands, Kinesiotaping and Cupping methods, and Graston Technique/IASTM. And we are excited to announce that our Cryotherapy machines is on its way to help speed up the recovery of all conditions.

  •  Do you specialize in sports therapy and if so, what would you tell players the 3 essential must do/know prior to practice?

Our office specializes in sports therapy and I am currently studying for my CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) to better understand and later apply the knowledge in the field of sports physical therapy. The 3 things that all players must do prior to practice are:

  1. Always rest and clear your mind. Spend time meditating for 15-20 minutes so you’ll be able to think clearly and feel energized.
  2. Perform a good amount of stretching exercises to prevent any injuries and to warm up the body prior to the game.
  3. Drink plenty of water before practice as it is essential for the body to physiologically perform activities to avoid overheat and dehydration.
  • How did you come to know NJ Teamsterz FC? You’re now the teams physical therapist on record & I understand your facilities will be available to treat the teams players, coaches & front office?

I used to be employed in a physical therapy office in Bayonne for 5 years when I met Alex and Sibrena as patients in the clinic. When they started NJ Teamsterz, that’s when I began treating their soccer players, pre- and post- seasons. It is a different feeling and excitement this time being the main provider of physical therapy service to the whole team, coaches, and staff.

  • What is your plan, in short for NJ Teamsterz athletic care, pre and post treatment?

Our main plan for the NJ Teamsterz athletic care is to get the athletes warm-up, prepared and physically able to perform their best as the season begins. Once the season ends, our priority will be focused on rehabilitating the players and maintaining their condition at an optimal level.

  •  Where are you located and how can our fans find you?
