NJ TEAMSTERS FC PARTNERS WITH JERSEY CITY SOCCER ASSOCIATION

HARRISON, N.J. – The New Jersey Teamsters Football Club have agreed to a youth development partnership with the Jersey City Soccer Association

The NJ Teamsters FC will provide the Jersey City Soccer Association with advanced professional training and coaching to further develop the skills of our players who aspire to play in high school, college and beyond.  The NJ Teamsters FC Academy will provide that bridge.  The program will include onsite professional  coaching staff, curriculum access, player clinics, team training, league play, tournament play, coach education workshops, and a preseason training camp.

“We are looking forward to our partnership with the Jersey City Soccer Association and the opportunity to develop young players in their local community,” said Alex Geraldino, principal of the NJ Teamsters Football Club.” As a future leader in youth soccer, it is important that we play an active role in the development of future soccer generations.”

“We are very excited to be able to partner with a new semi-professional soccer organization and work towards building the successes of both the Jersey City Soccer Association and the NJ Teamsters FC,” said Joe Santella, Jersey City Soccer Association President. “This partnership will allow us to provide a comprehensive training program for our youth competitive team participants with one of the newest clubs forming to compete in the Northeast Conference of the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL).

The grassroots partnership provides the Jersey City Soccer Association a unique opportunity to partner with an aspiring, hungry, new semi-professional soccer team and benefit from the extensive experience of former professional players and current experienced high level coaches.  In addition to the training that the youth players will benefit from, the partnership will also include assistance with college recruiting and mentoring where young players can partner with active NJ Teamsters FC players to draw on their experience.
