Coaching Experience Head Coach Javier Romero started his coaching career in 1999 and is currently the Technical Coach at St. Peter's Prep. Player experience Coach Javier started his soccer career at the age of 5 with North Bergen Soccer Association. His years with North Bergen included several tournament wins along with two State Cup finals. He played HS soccer with Union Hill HS in Union City, NJ, earning a varsity starting position all four years. His HS career saw him being awarded 4 All Conference 1st team wins, 4 All County 1st Team wins, 4 All Star 1st team wins and 2 County Player of the year wins. He helped his team win 2 County Championships (‘87 & ‘88) and one Sate Championship win in ‘88. His youth career included 6 years in the US ODP program making it to the national level in his 2nd year. He played 2 years of college ball at St Peters University winning MAAC Rookie of the year and MAAC Player of the year before joining the NJ Nationals as part of the USISL league. He played with in the USISL for 4 years. A license projection in Fall 2022.
Technical Director and Founder - Boston Storm, an Elite Youth Club playing in Maple League. 8 teams U-9 to U-15 Boys and Girls. As Technical Director of Boston Storm, Mr. Lukens helped develop 6 players that went onto the MLS and 2 female players to WUSA. In all, 7 former Boston Storm players played for the US National Team. Head Coach and Technical Director of Ukraine Professional 2nd Division team. Led the St Lucia Men's U-23 National Team for 2 years during preparations and through the 2008 CONCACAF Olympic Qualification Games. Two year overall record competing against Trinidad Professional Teams, St Lucia Premiership Teams and Olympic competition was 7-4-2. Head Coach and President of American 1st Divsion ("A" League) Professional Soccer Team. Took over a club that had no players, training facilities, stadium or offices. In 3 months hired employees, coaching staff, secured a stadium and training grounds, signed 24 players, participated in the Super Draft and led the team into the "A" League playoffs before being eliminated eventual champions Seattle Sounders.
